My thoughts turn to Matthew 5:45 - God has been good to us with no consideration as to whether we are the righteous or the unrighteous. His blessings fall upon us all.

Surgery Day - 1550
We met with the surgeon and he confirmed that everything went according to plan. Jacob's oxygen levels are perfectly normal now and his heart is working as a normal heart would. They'll finish closing him up and he said they would probably keep him knocked out until tonight or tomorrow AM.
