Jacob is more and more awake all the time. He was able to drink a little water earlier. He wanted to drink a lot more but he's on rations for right now. Heather is hanging with him while I get a little rest.
A dear friend of ours came by about 10:00. It was great to see her and thoughtful of her to come. She brought donuts and kolaches, it was great to see those as well.
So far Jacob is recovering at an excellent pace. If he continues then we can expect to leave the ICU and get into a regular room either late tomorrow or on Friday.
