A Few More Pics from China

Saw these signs near China's equivalent of the White House.  Apparently it's not allowed to have something on your car that explodes.  Makes sense.

We saw several signs along the way that seemed to either indicate things that we couldn't figure out or just indicated the obvious.  While touring the Summer Palace we saw a board full of signs near one of the entrances.  It included signs that indicated that firearms were prohibited, pets were prohibited, fishing was prohibited, etc...  There was also a sign that showed a building that was exploding at it's base, all with a line through it.  The only thing we could figure is that they were indicating that destroying the buildings with explosives was not allowed.  I would've thought that went without saying but why take a chance.

When we visited the Great Wall there was a map at the entrance that showed where things were at that particular location.  Of course it was written in chinese but with english subtitles.

In the closeup shot below you can see that if you are one with the universe, you can be everywhere at once...

  1. I laughed so HARD when I read how you can be everywhere at once if you are one with the world and saw the illustration for explanation!! As well as it is apparently NOT a good idea to drive around their "white house" with things that will make your car explode!!Such funny people these Chinese people...or maybe it's the funny American who makes it even funnier! Either way... it was funny! :)

So glad to hear that you will continue the Blog thing for awhile! :)

I also am hoping Lora is feeling much better and "normal sleep" patterns will once again resume in your world of parenting.

    Happy Blogging!
